Thrive

Choose to Thrive - Even during Difficult Times

Thrive - a Pause Practice

Create your own daily Thrive Practice in this 7 day online retreat + short-course.

In this challenging year, during this unusual time, do you feel like you are merely surviving? Moving through your days and waiting for something to change and get better?

What if you could change things? What if better could happen? Right now. Even with the way things are.

You are culturally programmed to think of your day as an entity of 2 parts: day & night. What would happen if you broke each day into 4 segments? What would happen if you knew how to honour each of these segments and changed your experience of them?

The four daily segments are:

  1. Ritual - how you move from Rest to Action

  2. Action - how you move through the working Action part of your day

  3. Reflection - how you move from Action into Rest

  4. Rest - how you move through the hours in bed and darkness.

Transformation happens in the transition times and within each of these segments. You will learn how to invite transformation this in this course.

Find the ability to THRIVE right now.

What does thriving mean?

To thrive is to flourish. To feel good about your life, and about yourself.

In contrast, to survive is to merely exist: To live and function without pleasure or joy.

Though the distance between surviving and thriving might feel large, is not as wide as you might think.

Small shifts and powerful, but easy, daily practices can help you to move towards thriving.

What is a Thrive Practice?

A Thrive practice is a type of pause practice that integrates different techniques, exercises and self-care practices into the 4 distinct segments of your day.

how is Thrive offered?

Thrive is a 2-part experience:

Part 1 is a live online retreat. (Don’t worry if you can’t make it live. It will be recorded and uploaded to the classroom.)

Part 2 is a 7-day experiential short course available in the online classroom.

The Thrive Retreat

In the retreat-workshop, you will learn how to:

  • segment your day into 4 distinct parts.

  • work with each of the segments to cultivate transformation and a feeling of thriving.

  • anchor and reframe yourself within each 24 hour period.

  • use different powerful, but easy, micro-practices depending on your individual needs.

During our retreat time together, you will experience:

  • a selection of different practices so that you can choose which are the most effective for you

  • rest, restoration and the inner bliss that comes from taking time away for yourself

The retreat lasts approximately 2 hours. This depends on the size of the group and number of questions and discussion. Your retreat experience will never be rushed. Don’t worry if you can’t make it. It will be recorded for you.

The Thrive Short Course

The short-course compliments and frames the retreat to offer you support over a period of 7 days.

During the course, you will receive:

  • extra information on how to work with the segments of your day

  • the experience of additional daily guided mini-practices

Denise will offer daily mini-experiences of additional practices so that you will have a selection of favourites. In time, you will find that you may wish to use a different practice depending on the situation, day and circumstance.

What if I can’t make it? What if I get behind? Can I revisit the material?

Yes. The online classroom will contain the recorded zoom retreat and daily sessions. Once you own the course, you revisit the classroom anytime to work through the material at your own pace.
